You're a cat person. OK, we dig that. We could totally get behind that. Are cats weird? Sometimes, they can be - especially when they: Chase around lights; eat rubber; eat rug; poop everywhere... oh this list could go on! But that's also probably the reason you find them adorable.

So this news item could probably be the best news for you right now: You're going to understand your cat - finally! Remember those times she haplessly stared at you while you cried over your girlfriend (or boyfriend)? How about those times when she endlessly purrs and slithers around your legs? Those are the times you wished you knew what she was saying right? Well, wish no more!

Introducing: The "Meowlingual Cat Translation Device". If the "meowlingual" doesn't give it away, it's made to allow you to finally understand your cat, and probably even answer back - in catspeak!

The gadget (or device, or - magic!) is currently selling online - and like hot cakes as it would seem, 'coz they're practically sold out!

The Japanese site (why are the Japanese the only people who think of awesome stuff like these?) claims:

Like Takara Tomy's Bowlingual, the dog "translator" device, the Meowlingual will apparently help you decode what your cat is telling you. It can analyze the expression on your feline friend's furry face and categorize it into six different moods. The gadget also translates around 200 words in "cat chat". It can even interpret 21 kinds of emotions based on your cats gestures and behavior, and offers 85 types of health checks.

We-we-we-we-wait a minute... did the paragraph just say "Like... the dog 'translator' device"? Oh this gets even weirder!

Oh, here are the features of the cat translator:
