Cleo announces changes in Channel Management Group

Dear Ka-Globe,

The Channel Management Group (CMG) has always put customers first as our North Star. Delivering and meeting the ever-changing needs of customers require consistent customer focus and agility, more so now that the pandemic has accelerated the speed of change. 

In response to the changes in customer needs and how we will serve them, CMG anchored its 2023 Big Plays to Go Big on Digital with the following objectives:

  • Grow and synergize the Globe ecosystem through dynamic ways of collaboration

  • Build future-ready channels using digital as a catalyst for growth

  • Deliver digital customer experience fast and address barriers to inclusive technology

One major trend is the shift of customers from offline to online. This necessitates a change in the way that we manage the channels. Previously, CMG was organized into different sales channel verticals:

  • Retail Sales Operations (Globe Stores)

  • Field Sales Operations (General Trade)

  • Field Sales Transformation (ECPay business)

Effective December 1, 2022, Retailer Sales Operations, Field Sales Operations and Field Sales Transformation were integrated into one group, now called the Consumer Business Operations (CBO).

The reorganization will allow us to effectively execute Globe’s strategic plans to make products and services available for our customers across all relevant touchpoints. Equipped with a deep understanding of who our customers are, CMG will be able to address the customer’s needs at the right place and at the right time.

In this regard, effective January 1, 2023, I will be supported by the team to drive CMG’s transformation:

  • Jaz Montelibano - Channel Transformation & Strategy Head

  • Marianne Quiambo - National Sales Head

  • Barbie Dapul - Channel Support & Services Head

  • Cathy Ramones - National Trade Marketing Head

  • Janice de Vera - Channel Information & Analytics Head

  • Mic Coson - Retail Design Portfolio & Growth Head

  • Alex Amado - Channel And People Excellence Head

  • Gino Guinto - Digital Sales Operations Head and will handle a stretch assignment as Business Operations Head (Territory 4-5)

  • Chai Alano -  Business Operations Head (Territory 1-3)

  • Kiss Ekong - Business Operations Head (Territory 6-8)

Reporting under Chai, Kiss and Gino are Territory Business Heads whose key mandates are to accelerate the influence and growth of Globe in the territory across all channels, drive the team to achieve targets and develop talents in the territory.     

Territory Business Heads under Chai Alano:

  • Territory 1 (Cagayan, Ilocos, Pampanga and Bulacan) headed by Rizza Reyes

  • Territory 2 (Isabela, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, Pangasinan, Baguio, BatZam) headed by Racquel Marcelo

  • Territory 3 (North GMA) headed by Mashie Laja

Territory Business Heads under Gino Guinto:

  • Territory 4 (South GMA, Cebu & Palawan) headed by Bam de Guzman

  • Territory 5 (South Luzon) headed by Roc Buncab

Territory Business Heads under Kiss Ekong:

  • Territory 6 (West Visayas, Eastern Visayas and Bohol) headed by Bong David

  • Territory 7 (South Mindanao) headed by Jimbo Cordero

  • Territory 8 (North & West Mindanao) headed by Yza Chui

CMG will be conducting roadshows to orient various teams on the organization changes. We ask for your continued support to all our leaders as they work together in creating wonderful for our Globe customers.
