During this pandemic, no one is excused in adapting to the new normal, especially our Ka-
Globe in the stores. Now more than ever, they are driven to provide wonderful customer
experience to our customers. In fact, this drive, together with excellence has led our Globe
Apple Masters to bring home the bacon in the recent Apple Competition!

Wait a minute, did you ask what the Apple Excellence Program is?


It’s a year-long multi-level program of Apple aiming to enhance the Apple customer experience
and drive ownership through talented and engaged frontliners. The participants of this program
are called Apple Masters or Apple Master Pluses. They are selected store sales and service
specialists around the Philippines who are supported with workshops and in-app activities to
level up their knowledge about Apple products and services. These knowledge help our stores
provide wonderful experiences to our customers.

Okay, going back!

Last August, Apple launched a competition called “Why iPhone SE?”. This competition is open
to all Apple Masters from their partner retailers and network providers nationwide. To join this
competition, Apple Masters submitted a 60-second video showing why our customers should
buy the second generation iPhone SE that was recently released in the third quarter of this year.
Although they were only given 2 weeks to prepare, our Apple Masters were able to manage to
conceptualize and create their entries despite their tight schedules… some even arranged their
videos as early as 3 AM just to ensure the quality of their entries!

On that note, the Projects L&D team of Channel Governance and People Excellence ensured to
provide tips and feedback on their videos before they submit it to Apple. In this way, our Apple
Masters were confident that their entries present the iPhone SE’s specs with value to our
customers, and we are confident as well that they make it to the top.

And they did!

It was a joyful morning when Apple announced that they named two of our own as the first and
third placers in the “Why iPhone SE?” competition! And not only that, but our Apple Masters
also dominated the Top 15 of this nationwide contest!

Let us give our best cheers and congratulate the Apple Masters who have shown excellence in
Apple’s “Why iPhone SE?” Competition! You truly made us proud to be Ka-Globe!
