Your medical and health benefits during COVID-19

We understand that working under these challenging conditions is difficult. This is why we have put measures to help our critical skeletal force (CSF), and our Ka-Globe working from home, carry out their duties during these trying times.

From PREVENTION, DETECTION, and TREATMENT, every Ka-Globe has access to the following benefits:

PREVENTION 

For those reporting for work: e.g. CSF

  • Personal protective equipment or PPEs such as coverall suits, face masks, gloves, goggles, alcohol for those engaging outside our facilities.

  • Food packs, vitamins, and supplements

  • Free shuttling and transportation to our sites and key drop off points in NCR with increased capacity in the coming weeks.

  • Hotel accommodations to address commute to the sites, as applicable and where possible

  • Regular disinfection of our buildings, thermal scanning on all entry points, hand sanitizers throughout common areas for a virus-free workplace.

  • Selected Stores will practice proper social distancing at all times, and where applicable, no-contact or no-touch service processes will be put in place. Ka-Globe manning the Stores will also be provided with appropriate PPEs.

 

DETECTION 

For all Ka-Globe:

  1. DUDE monitoring. You can tick “not so well” when he prompts his daily “How are you?” Our Response Team will get in touch with you soon as we get this feedback.

  2. KonsultaMD. Ka-Globe may receive FREE expert medical advice through KonsultaMD’s 24/7 hotlines: 79880 (mobile) or 02-7798-8000 (landline).

  3. MindNation for mental health concerns. Physicians and psychologists from KonsultaMD and MindNation are on standby. 

 

For urgent mental health care, you can either call KonsultaMD (numbers above) OR if you need therapy sessions, you may book a Psychologist with MindNation by sending them an email at hello@themindnation.com using your Globe corporate email. These are free therapy and counseling sessions.

Aside from this, there are video content and webinars on coping with isolation and anxiety that you may access here, aside from other activities for mental wellness from your HR Wonderful Experience Team.

 

TREATMENT

If you get infected while on active duty, Globe will extend the necessary assistance. Our HMO will cover all COVID-19 related expenses. If for some reason, the HMO fails to cover the entire COVID-related medical expense, Globe will. 

For CSFs, your medical bills will be 100% covered, even if you exceed your medical coverage. Family member medical expenses will also be charged to Globe, if contracted from our employee.

For  Ka-Globe who are working from home and would need medical assistance during this time, our HMO will cover your expenses as normal.
