How deep was the election’s effect on your life? Are you contented by the fact that you have casted your vote? Truth is, after you’ve casted your votes, then comes the task to guard it!

Eight (8) Ka-Globe proved that they fully support the movement to ensure free, fair, and fraud-free elections in the Philippines as they volunteered to help the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) check our votes. As part of the team, our task there may be simple – sort and batch the election returns coming from different precincts – but for us, it was time spent away from our families, to give back to the country in our own little way.

However small the task may seem, if we didn’t do our jobs well, the ERs will not be validated correctly, and the precincts with erroneous and incomplete transmissions will not be flagged or audited properly.

Meanwhile, our Ka-Globe Jonas Tuason turned instant celebrity as Robi Domingo, PPRCV youth ambassador, personally briefed him on how the sorting and batching is done! Way to go Jonas!

It is truly a rewarding experience to be part of the people shaping our country’s 2109 elections. We all take home the pride that comes with helping to make the conduct of the 2019 elections as transparent and successful as possible.
