An Art and Music Fair For Ka-Globe
The first of its kind at Globe, from MusAC
Chad Tabigue, ICONtributor02/26/19 13:02pm

We never imagined that we'll one day be able to create a fair specifically for artists! This time around, it was for musicians and photographers. iCreate 1.0 served this need of our passionate artists in Globe. It was all about building partnerships and rekindling the artistic passion inside all of us.

It gave an opportunity for Globe Music and performing Arts Club (MusAC) to partner with JB Music Philippines, one of the leading music stores in the Philippines. With the help of JB Music owner Jerico Fernando and marketing head Waheed Aljarallah, we were able to plan and execute the expo flawlessly in a short period of time, through a few exchanges on email and Viber chats. JB Music brought their new lifestyle products along with their affordable music instruments and gave 20% discount on all their products! These same Lifestyle products are also available at Globe Stores.

Fujifilm Philippines is a long time partner of Globe DRMHWS-Click Photography Club. Since 2015, both parties have been continuously collaborating to provide our Ka-Globe with relevant workshops to enhance our skills and learn the best practices from top professional artist in the industry.

Check out our workshop schedules at https://globe.facebook.com/events/.

Did you know that we have in-house talents that you can hire for your photo and video requirements? These are talented professional artists with affordable rates, too!

ManilaTech and Urbandgadgets also brought digital and lifestlye products like Skullcandy headphones and BlackMagic cameras. Hopefully, we can offer basic video production and color grading workshop to our fellow Ka-Globe soon!

To those who visited the shops during the event, some of you may have noticed that all shops have GCash scan-to-pay QR codes. As part of our partnership, we encouraged our partners to apply and use GCash. Most of them are first-time users. They were amazed how convenient it is to transact via GCash! Hopefully, we can bring in more partners this coming April. We are open to suggestions, tell us in the comments!

Thank you to those who supported the event especially the HR Wonderful Experience (WEx) team, Logistics and Admin Support (LAS), and Security Officers for helping us execute our first iCreate event. See you on the next!
