It’s hard not to get excited when you get to be visited by Youtube celebrities like, let’s say, Jayden Rodrigues!

That is just what happened yesterday when Jayden, a self proclaimed video games geek and a loud-and-proud nerd, participated in the different activities in Globe, starting the day by joining the Digital Thumbpring (DTP) session at the Kalayaan national High School. About 43 students attended the session, each of them inspired by the life story of Jayden.

He hit his first million views with a dance cover to Jason Derulo’s Talk Dirty. Jayden is a singer, dancer and choreographer whose first venture into the limelight was at X Factor Australia in 2013.

Part or his charm are the dance videos he creates with easy-to-follow tutorials. He loves to combine gaming, comics and cosplay with dancing. He calls his subscriber base "Rod Squad" (which is quite a number) and continues to come up with different ways to entertain them. He also called on the students to be responsible netizens, treating others with respect, and making the internet a safer and enjoyable environment.
